String Hight Faults
| The fretboard is calculated for an ideal instrument with no string height (action). When the strings are elevated by the bridge to be playable, we introduce a fault. We have to press the strings down to the frets. The tension increases and the note will be sharp. What few thought of is that there also is, for several reasons, a string height at the nut. |
